Hosted by the American Museum of Natural History, SubjectToClimate, the National Wildlife Federation’s Climate & Resilience Education Taskforce, New York City Public Schools Office of Energy and Sustainability, Climate Mental Health Network, and Yale Program on Climate Change Communication, the event will bring together educators, policymakers, and community leaders to explore how teachers are bringing climate change education into classrooms.

Highlights include:

  • Keynote by Suzie Hicks, an award-winning filmmaker, author, and television host, specializing in climate and environmental communication for kids of all ages

  • Opening remarks by American Museum of Natural History President Sean Decatur

  • Presentations from 5 New York educators who are leading the charge in climate education at their schools, and ecologist Carolyn Hall.
