STANYS is dedicated to promoting excellence in science education. Their mission is to work toward a future where all students have a high-quality science education that prepares them for life in the 21st century. The annual conference hosts about 700 educators and leaders from across the state in Syracuse, NY.

Friday Pre-Conference Workshop, Friday, Nov. 6th  This pre-conference workshop will focus on climate education and the groups working to advance it!

· Title:Making Climate Science Stick: From the Classroom, Community and Beyond.

· Time: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM

· Format: The day will feature a series of plenary sessions designed to foster deep engagement and collaboration.

· Focus: This workshop aims to share resources that support the NYS Climate Education Initiative, specifically focusing on the Causes, Impacts, and Solutions of Climate Change.
